The Sennheiser Drum Mic’a is a virtual drum kit. Meaning it’s a computer drum kit but it sounds really close to the real thing. Here you can listen to my official Sennheiser Drum Mic’a songs I wrote and produced. Those songs include the virtual drumkit’s sounds to highlight how cool a fake virtual drum kit can sound.
Back then, my introverted side was still a bit more dominant than it is today. So when Sennheiser asked me to write and produce one of those songs, I was all in — assuming I could do it quietly, alone in the comfort of my studio.
Well… that was the plan. Until they mentioned they also needed a photo of “a musician” for the campaign. And since I was already there… the rest is history.
